what standalone do you have? I will be home in Yakima all this week. Are you going to be doing it on a dyno or just street tuned? Need more information on your setup. Murder racing? hehe um... k O.o

Hey, I am MORE than happy to help, but the problem is ... you can't really tune much with the stock ECU. Are you running an SAFC or something that I missed?
If you are having idle problems or what not, I can help you with that also!
Do you have a wideband, EGT, or anything else like that?
Call me I PM'ed you my phone number.

imo best way is to fork over for a standalone and then have a professional tune it. You will be happier longer. Steve kan is coming to town in like a month, not sure if all the availible spots are taken or not.

I concur, its had to be a pro at his own game. $400 for a tune is a drop in the bucket compared to a blown motor fiasco. I like Steve so much I had him tune Aaron's new car twice. Runs like a scalded dog.

I have spoke with driftN7, and I'm going to go look at his car today. He recently blew his clutch so he won't be going anywhere for a while. Like all FC owners, he has some major issues (right now, his wastegate doesn't seem to be working O.o) and he has been forced into a money hole from blown engines and bad engine builders. I will hopefully be sitting down with him for a good ...oohhhh 5 hours today haha, and educating him on his car, his options, and a REAL $ estimate of what it is like to drift your daily driver. Like most people, he has his setup bass ackwards starting with mods and performance adders, before getting a solid base. (I have been told this many times myself) I do recommend after he gets his clutch fixed that he get a standalone and get tuned. But at the same time, if he could turn down the boost to a reasonable level I do think he would be able to drift fine all day with stock ECU and injectors. (and save a nice chunck of cash) But I really doubt he will be able to do it, so he should go standalone. The thing is he has NOTHING for tuning safety installed, and from what I got from talking to him, a car setup for drag racing. O.o It's going to be a long expensive conversion to a reliable daily driver drifter... (DDD

Me, chris, trevor, and rob all run with this clutch on our 7s, with REALLY good luck.
