Well we had a bit of a problem with just about everything on the car. Some of it has been squared away, and some i need to work on. Anyways because the ecu had problems reading my 720cc's properly that we cranked out was 275H and 233T.

So a couple things i need to get. I need to buy an N/A hood so that i may cut a hole for vent with the intercooler, rig up somthing for the sides of the v-mount so that air passes through better, R-tek 1.7 which controls 720cc's, turbo blanket and heat resistant type tape for the DP.

Once i get the chip and the hood ill be taking it back to Doug for some more tuning.

I'm actually happy with the numbers because it's properly tuned of course. I Don't have to worry about blowing up my perty engine.

Oh, ill have dyno sheet uploading tomorrow.

Call me when you need someone to install the R-Tek chip. I am pretty handy with a soldering iron (I install Xbox modchips often and the solder points are even smaller for an Xbox).

Hey Wally, could you comment on the runnability improvements too, not just max power. Were you experiencing any basic drivability problems? Are they better or worse?

BTW, Wally's tune is 275WHP at just 12psi. As soon as he gets some ventilation to his intercooler, 17psi all the time shouldn't be unreasonable.

Nice, congrats on the rest of the tune. I can't wait to see 17psi.

Well driving the car was a lot smoother. On way my back i was stuck in traffic. Someone from the opposite side of the highway somehow landed on top of the guardrail on my side heading north. We passed the police, firefighters and paramedics who were trying to revive the guy on the spot.

Anyways when my car wasnt tuned I had lots of problems with it jerking in first gear when i was hardly giving it any gas. Now that it is tuned properly there is no jerking at all. It is as smooth as butter. Let me tell you that there was a lot of work that needed to be done. Most of it my fault, becuase i'm stupid. :\ Between shifts feels great. When i'm really pushing it I feel instant power and no hesitation.

I took a look at the hi map for the boost controller, it was pretty weird how it was set. It was set on 10psi and warning was 19.6 somehow the boost stays right at 12psi without any problems. I though you had to change it to 12psi and warning would be like 13. From there you would change the it like 10 or 20% so if boost hit warning that it would drop a little to your desired 12psi. So now i have to figure out the lo map on the boost controller.

I don't want to mess with tuning...it scares me That is why I plan to have another more experienced person do it for me. $500 < $2000 hahaha

hey z-beater... why don't you come down with your car and see what we can do? If you ask Wally how much it was, and how much work we did, it wasn't actually that bad! Cheap Power!!
