Thinking About Purchasing a 7

Hey there,

I came across a deal to pick up an 88 rx7 that was a theft recovery (but nothing missing oddly) for 1100 bucks. Runs and drives great, straight clean body. Was looking to see if this is a good deal or not? Thanks!

Really nice ones are going for around $2000ish so if it runs and looks good yes its a good deal.

is it a 5 lug model??( they have better brakes and suspension?? if so if it has power windows, and rear wiper its a GXL model which is a good find for that price.
if it has manual windows, then it would be a GTU model, still a good find

if its a 4 lug model(base model) then 1100 is a fair/normal price

how many miles??

1100 bucks isnt anything special. I want to sell my 88 5 lug power windows with 180K and used motor and tranny recently installed for around that.

That's funny. it is totally an issue of fit. Are you the old school rocker type like so many of us 1st gen people? Maybe you're the boy band kinda guy with the pork chop sideburns. if so, 2nd gens are for you. The only other option is being the guy most of us wanna be. If that's the case, you need to drop around 10 grand for a third gen.
good luck
