Everyone: I will not be by my computer this weekend. For all of those tuning I have provided my number. If you are going to be late or won't make it or just have a question please call me. It will make the day smoother.
Thanks,

UPDATE:
Dave just called me asked me to pass this along. Steve's flight was cancelled. He's trying to get anotheraflight out tonight or tomorrow morning. Dave or I will update this every couple hours as we know something.
Just hang in there and we will keep you posted. Your money is good no matter what happens.

Update from Dave. Steve is on standby for a flight at 10:00 am tomorrow. If he can get a flight, he will start tuning around 11am, when they arrive in Puyallup.
David Hays - I know you were first up to tune. I'll be giving you a call with z-beaters number so you can work it out.
All - Keep checking back here for updates.

"The Big Sleep" takes a dump
Four got dyno'd.
It went pretty well for everyone except me. My 20b blew up on the dyno when it lost an apex seal on the front rotor after doing about five or six pulls.
We were there until about 10:00 pm. Mine was the last one of the session. It kind of made the four hour ride back home a bit of a bummer. Towing the car home was an other exciting trip. The car managed to nearly slide off the trailer, when one of the tie-down straps failed. I got it home OK but to say the least, it was stressful.
On the positive side, I had just purchased a "D" series 20b the day before, in anticipation of needing to replace the installed 20b.
I want to thank all the rotards that hung around during the tuning session and helped fix the "minor" problems with "The Big Sleep" (my car). Dave, for organizing the event and crawling under the car on multiple occasions. Tim for driving me to the parts stores and wrenching on it when needed. Chris and Michelle, for helping get the turbo working. Zack, for helping pull the bumper to fix the inner cooler connections. Marc, for knowing where all the dead bodies were buried (he was the original builder). I had a great time and really appreciate the help you all freely gave.

It was boosting four pounds on stock turbos. About 255 hp. The rev limiter was set at 7000 rpm.
I didn't get a printout of the dyno run. Everybody was pretty tired and bummed when it happened; so the printout was forgotten/over looked.
yup idle is nice and smooth now. They were able to get hanks car back on the dyno but his clutch was still acting up(steve thinks cracked clutch fork) but I think he made it up to 340 but had some other little issues unfortunately.
i think mine was the loudest....lol...
thanks for gettin this all organized, even though i was a late shoe in.
and thanks dave for slipping me in early to get home, i got home at 8:30.
thanks to all and it was nice meeting you!

BTW, i want to make a BIG thanks to my good friend Tweak, my car wouldnt have been tuend if it wasnt for him damn near forcing me to take his spot, not only that, but the help that you gave me to get the injectors in and all the small **** finished up.

Well it seems like the clutch problem is not a problem anymore. The only real problem that is going on right now is that my intercooler is not doing a very good job. I'm pretty curious to see what this thing will do with a good intercooler. My best number today was 347rwhp. Which is pretty good to me. The car is really fast and makes power really fast. I'll try to post up a scan of the dyno graph.

I also want to say sorry to everyone that was expecting me to run at the dyno. I gave it my all, just the rotary gods weren't going to have it. :/ Nothing much I could do.
Also a thanks to z-beater and Steve Kan for everything they did. You guys did a wonderful job.
I didn't get to get the name of the person that owned the dyno, but he was a great person to talk to also.
Kompressor logic - I need to pick up the soldering iron some day... don't put it in the back of your closet or anything... :P
I hope everyone got the numbers and tunes they were looking for. Drive safe with the new power.
Night

Phew, I am pooped. So much to say. Let's start from the top.
My car made 320 @ 15psi. I am pretty sure that my turbo is having some problems. That is really low. Either way the car rips. I think that it is time for a new 62-1.
Dave: Get that secondary turbo figured out. We will bring him out again.
Tweak: Get your haltech figured out. You have a little more breathing room now.
Mort: I think that you are right, your car is pretty loud. Now get an external WG, dump it to atmosphere and go scare little children and old women.
Marc: A little late, but glad you made it.
Daniels: Thanks for letting me use your spark plug wrench. Motorcycle plugs ftw.
Bob: No problem. Anytime you need help I will lend a hand. I feel your pain, a very similar thing happened to me 3 years ago. Get that motor swapped and bring it back. If I were you I would pull the motor apart, check all the clearances and re-install new seals. Cheap insurance IMO. Oh and it was good to see you again, don't be a stranger. I think the last time I saw you was what? 4 years ago?
Toomuch: I am sorry to hear about your problems, even if it was at 5am. lol j/k. Get that fuel rail fixed and we will see what she makes. As I said before we will probably be bringing Steve back.
Hank: I realized last night that I didn't get a ride. You so owe me a ride. That thing spools crazy. I am glad that we were able to get you up there after the clutch fork went.
Chance: Great numbers! Thanks for letting me use your multi-meter.
Kevin @ Jet City: I know he probably won't see this but anyone that was at the event probably got the grasp of how cool he is. I literally called him the night before saying that we might not make it. His response was, "Ok Dave, just let me know what I can to to help". If anyone needs a dyno I highly reccomend him. Not to mention that he can weld like a ****.
Timmy: Great to see you again. You are always entertaining. haha Thanks for hooking people up with multiple trips back and forth from the auto parts store.
Chris: Thanks for the help with the 3 bar. I have to admit that it felt like the good 'ol days when you used to have your turbo FB.
Michelle: Thanks for all the snacks and treats. And more importantly letting me steal your husband for hours on end. <-- that sounds bad.
Zack: Good to see you again. Now get a single on that FD
Ryan: As always it is always fun to see you. You crack me up.
Steve: This one is a given. hahaha
