i have a 86 rx7 and everytime i get on the gas and get up around 5,000rpms it starts to smoke blue, which i know is oil. it will do this in 1st 2nd and sometimes 3rd gear. these is also a ratteling when it does smoke. i also know that the rx7 are famous for eating up oil. the car has been doin this since before i got it, hopein that someone else knows what the problem is and that is can be fixed with little or no money. cuz havin to shift at 5,000 makes it hard to push the car to its full potential.

 

disable the oil metering pump and premix your fuel.
