Robert Lappolis engine builder?

So it appears i need to have my engine overhauled, i have been looking into several places and heard many names. I was wondering who has heard about this guy and what work he has done in the past.

Ya, he lives in Rouge River. I've had him help me when I first got into rotarys. He knows his **** that's for sure. But he's super pricey and can come off as a dick. But that's just him. I agree with tweak. Do it urself. Read, read, and read some more. Then go for it.

The guy is looking to rebuild his engine, I told him to rebuild it himself. How is that not on topic? XD That was one of my most on topic posts ever.

Then FCrotory gave a response even MORE on topic about the builder in question and agreed with my previous statement.

Am I missing something? Am I reading the wrong thread? Can I have some of what ever your having?

The kid has 5 posts, has a blown engine, but has a screen name loverotaryengines. Semi off topic there, but thought it was worth mentioning.

<3 u RW-7.

LoveRotaryEngines, check out the stickied thread about all the builders, and use the search function.

But honestly, if you want it done right, download a rotary rebuild instructional DVD, read the fsm, and rebuild it yourself. It is super super simple, and doesn't require any special tools but 1 huge socket and a torque wrench.

(If this is off topic, please delete all my posts, I could not care less. )

If OP dosn't mind, than nor do I. Just thought we could keep it simple for a Newbie.
