Thumbs up Project Vert.

So I went down to Sacramento a couple weeks ago, bought a 91 vert off some kid in the projects. Kid claimed it had an exhaust leak and a gasket out in the manifold causing coolant to seap into the combustion chamber.. The exhaust leak is half a stock exhaust he cut off due to not wanting to replace the gasket. The manifold "gasket" was a bolt missing in the back of the throttle body and a crack in the front cover inlet for the main radiator hose.

Anyways, so far I have driven it 1500 miles and no problems other than it having a blown coolant seal. I threw some Alumaseal in the radiator and the cooling problem is now not very prevalent but it's only temporary until I find a new block. Only real problems now are exhaust and possibly a pressure issue in the system, oh yeah and a top that leaks a little haha.

Long story short, 1000 bucks well spent. Going to restore the interior as the paint is brand new and probably throw a few suspension goodies in here and there and call it good for now. I'll update with pics whenever I am near a computer. Glad to be behind the wheel of another FC.

Haha yes Ryan. It runs and drives completely fine and compression is good (try and test it later) After the Alumaseal the engine runs completely normal, no drinking coolant by the gallon and no leaks in the system. Best of all, no smoke. I have been daily'ing it since I bought it and it has given me little to no problems. I mean I guess as long as I think it's a good purchase that's all that maters right? haha

Going to look at full black interior this weekend and probably pick up a BRIDE seat from my friend for deals. Might pick up some suspension stuff too we'll see.
