Ported intake manifold

As some of you might remember I ported an intake manifold awhike back and posted pics. Most flamed me and told me it won't help any that it was just going to hurt torque and not gain me any power. Well all i finally put it on today and OMG it's fugging awesome.. That 6500-7000 flat spot is gone. it pulls so much faster through the gears and out of turns 3k-4k so much better.. The power delivery is smother and I think both TQ and Hp have increased...

It's amazing what manifold changes can do, and it's amazing how bad oem ports and manifold runners really are!

Man the FDs manifold flow balance between the front and rear is sooo off. Pineapple gave a machined piece to put between the upper and lower manifold to balance the flow when I get a single, be interesting how much change it will make?

People who would think anything negative of a ported manifold are simply foolish. Done correctly (or even somewhat correctly!) it lets the engine breath across the board. The increase IS substantial but for some reason a lot of people would rather invest $150 in underdrive pulleys (or some other minimal gain crap) instead of investing 6 hours with a dremel. And when you get into that last 1,000 rpm, wow, it really sucks it in! Good mod.
