Sometimes yes, sometimes no. It all depends on the wishes of the customer. There is also the problem of what happens if the motor is later torn down and rebuilt by someone else in the future...a buyer could see the marks and presume it was still one of ours. The best way to tell if the motor was built by us is to see a receipt from the previous owner. Once an engine has changed hands more than once, it's "provenance", as they say, comes into doubt. Who can say what someone did to it? It could have sat outside, half flooded with rain water, for who knows how long. Or, it could have been flogged without enough premix, or run low on oil, or overheated, or run without an air filter, or... Any used engine is a gamble, no matter who last built it because anything could have happened after it changed hands.

We are back online with T1 speed! All it took was a 100' Cat 5 cable over to the neighboring shop's router.

Our painter should be finishing up tomorrow, and the electrician will have our transformer and new electrical panel done on Friday. Still need to do the assembly room floor and build some new benches...and then we can worry about fixing up the offices.

I do have pics of a RENESIS we built yesterday...if I get the time, I'll post them later today.

What kind of numbers are being expected out of the motor. If you don't want to talk about it on the board, feel free to drop me a PM Blake. CJ

I looked on the site, and now that first number is still the same, then there is another number 503-922-1347 and it just goes to a voicemail for the 1st number. Anybody talk to them latley? I tried pineapple and no answer, hoping they would know what's going on with chris now.

We have no idea what is going on with GT Garage. I was under the impression that they leased space over in North Portland or St. Helens, but I was later told that fell through and Chris is working out of his house or perhaps found space in Vancouver. No idea what that case is, because he didn't leave a forwarding address with us and everyone says he isn't answering his phone...but he will call back if you leave a message. Sorry I can't be more helpful.

Thanks, I called you guys, pineapple racing, earlier today and talked to somebody. If he did move close to st helens that would be great because I work off of st helens rd. I emailed him so I'll see what happens with that maybe I'll call in a day or so. My car is down right now and I was hoping he would fix it for free since something went wrong that he replaced. Anybody else in town you would recommend? I heard you guys are going to start doing work on cars soon? How soon?

Well, maybe. We are not going to be a full-service type of facility at any rate...just a car here and there, as we find the time, and more on the project end of things; not a lot of service work.

Chris at GT Garage is great when he's motivated, so I hope he gets his **** together and we can send him more business.

Well I emailed him and I got a call today, he said he's really busy. He's working by himself at his house and probably wouldn't be able to get to my car for a month or so. He also said I'll probably need a rebuild, my car only has 60k miles on it, not just on the engine, on the whole car. I kinda hope i need a rebuild so i can have a new engine and more power, but then i hope i don't because i don't wanna spend the money and i don't want to say i neede a new engine at 60k miles.
