Everyone is up north!!! Im in grants pass and I have a few friends with 7's but I see a lot drivin around... but they're all stock lol

 

I have family in the GP i visit every few months. But the only 7 I've ever seen down there was a faded red fd that never moved

 

that FD actually did move. it's been there since i first arrived in GP about 4 years ago. It moved from one side of the house to the other, and i saw the hood up one day, but it hasn't moved since. Got a miata at the same house, lot of miatas rollin' around here.

 

mr2 owner newly lurking in here, you guys wouldnt happen to know of any local FD's for sale would you? prefferably popped motor lol

 

This I know is a reach but does anyone recognize this car - know who owns it? I guess it was last sold to some guy near Sweet Home and I would be interested in buying it back as I used to own it. 1979, was all original including solid black vinyl interior, had a double black vinyl racing stripe on it including on it's sunroof ... Thanks for looking.

 

That fd in gp on bridge street??? Its in rogue river at robs now gettin worked on. I usually see fc's cruisin around :/

 

I know of a couple 79's in Sweet home, however neither of them fit the description. I will keep a sharp eye out for it though.

Thanks Robert - I guess the rumor was the guy who bought it intended on a V8 conversion It sucks because if I had known the guy I sold it to 8 years ago would sell it I would have bought it back from him, a bit bummed when I learned it was gone

 

Spotted a White FD on Hall Blvd at the 217 on ramp. It was around 3:15pm today.

Hey guys I live in Newberg and work in Tigard, don't have a Rx7 yet but looking to pick up a FD soon.

 

Think I seen you today. I drove by and did teh rotor rev. Is there a red(ish) FC with lambo doors where you are?

 

I didnt see or hear ya, an I dont know of a red FC round here I've not been out much since I've been here a week lol

 

Oh my bad. The guy with the red FC with Lambo doors works at the stereo store by the high school. There is another black S5 GTU in town then. If you go out 20 toward sweet home, just look to your right just after the golf corse. I also saw a white FC over by Rite-Aid. Waved.
Its funny how many 7's I see in this small town when I drive mine. I never see them when I'm in another car.

 

Just picked up a red 93! auto :/ for now. Hope i'm part of the team now lol... Just across the bridge in vancouver.

 

Hi Guys. I picked up a 87 GXL not to long ago.
I'm in Salem. I see a few other rx7s in town but not to often.
Maybe I will se more in the summer time.

 

Im sure you will see more out runnin amok when it warms up a bit.
RW-7 Yeah I saw the other GTU the other day goin down to the hobby shop and it looks identical to mine but I've got a turbo hood, and a newly busted tail light with a "band aide" on it haha

 

Also spotted a white S4 (GXL?) close to where I live. Looked pretty mint!

 

ha .. haaaa .. i live up in portland area and its funny how many rx7s are around here . there is even a club for those who are interested .. [RPNW] .. rotory power northwest.com .. i recently have spotted two FD's flying around the oregon city / redland area ..

 

a couple weeks ago saw a montego blue fd driving the opposite way on interstate by PIR. Was funny cause I haven't seen one on the road in months and my first drive to work got to see one.

As far as the meets i'm down friday or saturday, sunday before 4 as well. could also get some of the mr2 community to come out and hang as well.

 

Just bought FD. it's 2nd one for me and I had 2 FC in the past..

Just want to introduce myself...

I'm benjamin and I have a 1988 black rx7 convertible that's basically stock. I live in the Lebanon area and go to school at Linn Benton C.C.

I've been on the forum for awhile but just used it for information. I'd love to go to any rx7 meets in my area (as far as portland probably).


I got my car this past july and have fixed what I can. I rely on it everyday so it's hard to work on it.

I replaced the thermostat and the u joints, but I have alot left that doesnt work:
(not asking for help, but any advice would be welcome)

-driver side window, I think the passenger window now too (don't want to find out..)

-my flashers come on (switch is bad). I pulled the fuse and hope cops dont notice my lack of turn signal use.

-my stereo is completely screwed up, the previous owner put in an aftermarket stereo but was high when he wired it... mono sound. when I turn on the lights, it turns off. the door speakers dont work. the radio doesnt work.
I'm thinking I'll just take that to a shop and put some decent speakers in and have them fix it all.

-accesory power, clock, driver side key..

-coolant overflow issue that seems inconsistent
I think that's most of it

But every time I drive it, I can't help but smile, so it's worth it.

 

I saw a dark colored s5 (or at least the tail lights) coupe at the knothole market getting gas on 2/6 at around 9pm or so
