Just drove my first rx7 home last weekend from Cali, a 1993 FD. New home is west Portland.

 

sweet...maybe ill see you around. i live in SW. work downtown on the east side. drive my FD to work when its not nasty out.

 

1987 n/a sport FC in SW Portland!! we need more RX7 drivers in Portland guys. I rarely cross paths with any! All I see is S13 and Hondas >:o

 

I see FBs and FCs often. Rarely do I see FDs. I should have mine on the road soon.

 

Someone works near my employer in SW Portland and drives a stock silver FD. Daily, excluding bad weather. Older guy. I always wondered if he knew how lucky he was, lol.

85 GSL-SE blasting around Hood River. Can't get to sideways, little town and the only FB DD. Cops like stopping my son in his 86se. lucky kid, no tickets yet. stopped Twice last week for no front plate.

Hope you guys are excited as I am about finding one of these baby's with a 5 speed, perfectly working A/C, and only 86, 000 miles coulndt get any more lucky if you ask me. Btw paid 1500$ cash and it was only up for sale for litterly 3 min. And bought it from him straight out with a clean title. Now im the 3rd and last owner. Happy as a clam with an RX 7, as I would put it.

I used to be on here a bunch back in ~2004 when I had my 87 SE and my 87 T2 but I dropped off for a bit. I've got a 94 R2 that has been parked for a good while now that I'm finally starting to dig in to.

 

I've lived in Portland for about 3 years, I have only seen one FD, and a handful of nice FC's. I travel a bit for work so I might have missed some here.

I drive a dark green 93 coupe on Racing Hart M6's with a LS1/T56 swap. Brought her up with me from San Diego.

 

My son is now driving his maroon 88' SE around the Milwaukie/SE Portland area. I saw a 86-88 maroon RX7 weekend before last on Hwy 22 east of Salem weekend before last. Thought it was my son for a moment until I saw "GXL" on the fender as I drove by.

I own a 10ae, a 91 coupe an 85 gsl, and a 72 rx2 coupe. All back home. I wanted a new toy while I'm in portland. So I got an 88 gxl sadly auto showing 134k. And only high 80s psi. Front and back. But no matter wanted to say hello and find out where the meets are at I'd love to show up in my new turd lol

No I have buddies that goto red door on Sundays. I know alot of subaru guys here. My bugeye is still back home as well. Work and my gf are here. I needed something to play with so yeah scored a decent fc for 700 bucks. About to swap the auto out soon with the help of another forum member. I haven't found much. I assume there is a fb group that's more active but no luck yet

 

i joined the rotary northwest group on facebook apparently they meet the 1st sunday of every month. you should check it out

New 85 GSL-SE owner here, in Junction City Oregon, just north of Eugene.

White, mostly original and 110k miles on it. Doesn't run because previous owner messed up timing and vac lines. Sorting all that out as we speak so she'll run again.

 

Nearly a year since the last post... why not

Been on the forum now for a little while ever since I picked up an '82 and an '80 a couple years back. The '82 got fully stripped down as a parts car to save the SA. Located in Beaverton and the car is StarDust Blue - from memory at least. Paint's in pretty bad shape as the car came from sitting in a field for 16 years, but now I'm running DLIDFIS, a modded Nikki, RB header, and more. Sort of sad to see how few of us are around this area.
