Yeah, were you thinking of picking up his blue car as well that's well... now in the tall grass? lol

I'm not sure if he told you on that, but those rims on that car are mine, he sold his rims off of there. Just thought I would let you know.

I may be able to do that, but if the other guy gets to it before you I can't do much, parts are first come first serve with me basically.

As far as tonight, normally I am awake until 3am or so, but I gotta be up early in the morning to go to Mazda and pick up some parts and get some service done to the '08 Mazda3. Otherwise I'd be up for it.

Maybe tomorrow night or this weekend we could work something out for you however?

Oh, and nice to meet you too John. PM me if you want to talk more, we are kinda getting off-topic in this thread.

Awesome! Glad you found one. Did you get that from another forum member, or did you order it from Mazda?

Ordering it from Mazda would probably be in the $500 or more range most likely, and I don't think they had any units even left of it.

But no I got it from another NW member here.

Yes it did! My car runs now perfectly. Thanks again man.

As far as updates on the car; she is in the shop getting the brake master cyl rebuilt, clutch master and slave cyl rebuilt as well... wiring for stereo redone, and work on the fog light brackets restoring them as well...

ON A SIDE NOTE!

We went to a car auction today.. and had an AMAZING FIND!

We picked this up for $575 out the door.

It has...

- Full RB catback exhaust
- glass sunroof
- black interior WITH a rear cargo cover
- running s5 na engine
- brand new tires on stock rims
- strut bars
- FD steering wheel
- momo shifter

The list goes on and on and on...

...Want to sell me the sunroof? Actually, I don't know the dimensions or if it's different sizing or whatnot...anyway, I have been trying to not have to fab one.

So I haven't updated this in forever... had a lot of things pop up in my life that I've had to deal with. Hopefully will have some more time now.

We got the car back from the body shop today... now the before pic I found (forgot to take some actually of the affected area better)... anyway, you can KIND OF see the damage that it is, but it had been smashed in the rear quarter panel, and they had bondo'd the hell out of it to bring it back right... anyway, we got it finally fixed, and here are some of the pics of it.

New body panels will be swapped on shortly, as well as the interior fixed as well.

AFTER REPAIRS:

Now onto paint!
