Liam Maddox’s first engine build!
12 years old and taking on the rotary engine! Not many kids out there have desires to build motors, let alone the rotary engine!
His next build is just getting started! He has began the clean up and prep to build his next 13b for his SA22. This will be a fun build and I will have him jump on to make a write up or I will make one for him when it gets going good! The motor is going to be unique! We are taking GSLSE irons and rotors and using s5 housings custom grooved to remove the water seals from the motor. No water seals to fail, 3mm apex seals, should be a long lasting beatable track motor!
Oh and if I am not mistaken I think that the kid now holds title for the youngest person confirmed to have built a rotary engine? I think that is neat even if you hate the evil Joe Maddox and his not going away.
