kind of suprising

changed my insurance to my new old 85 toyota pickup, and actually got a slightly higher premium, the reason? the rx7's crash rating is better than the truck's... i found this very bizarre, especially since the rx7 is a sports car... but i know my first TII did great in a crash, just didn't know the FB was good too

Yeah, isn't it wierd.
Full insurance on my FC is cheaper than just basic insurance on my old 86 gmc suburban.

Older Accords as well. Hell my 93 FD is cheaper than my 91 Accord (guess it has something to do with airbag verses none).

Accord, Integra, etc = theft magnet. That is the reason for higher insurance on some cars.

the collision coverage on my civic was OVER THE ******* TOP. comp. was pretty reasonable, as was liability. looks like a lot of people wreck their civics and expect their insurance to pay out.

is that full coverage? or liability? i'm doing liability, they said if it were full coverage then it would have been lower than the rx7 for some reason or another
