It was flippin' COLD! Fun, though.

Hey Dave, sorry about how pathetic those highway pulls were. It shouldn't have been quite that bad. I was falling flat on my face at around 6K. Strange... I'll have to look into that.

1st pull I rolled on in 5th. The second pull was 3rd. Hopefully that was a little motivation to get your turbo car done now

Sure was. But after experiencing the car on the highway again last night, I think I may be wise to invest in ReSpeed's R&P setup first. Maybe some suspension stuff, too. We'll see.

Percent, your fuel system is inadequate for that thirsty carb. Also your steering box just needs the tightening technique before you spend any money on the rack and peanut kit. What would it hurt to try that first?

I just meant that I've got REALLY bad wondersteer at freeway speeds.

Jeff: Tightening the steering box should help, but I'm afraid it might be too far gone to fix it completely. Worth a shot, though, it can only help.

$20 vs whatever it costs for the rack and pinion kit? I'd give the $20 solution a try first.

I had really bad wondersteer, what car and tire sizes are you runnning? On my GSLSE I swapped the 215/60r14 of the the front and went to 195/60r14 and it was night and day. I then took the 185/70r14 winters off my GSLSE that I was selling (steered like a dream!) and put my old 215/60r14 all the way around, and it sucked compared to the narrow tires.

We just got a bunch of snow the last 3 days. Most of the premium 7's here don't come out of storage until late April or sometime in May for some. Mine moves from storage to the garage for any new projects in April and hits the road in May.
