Arrow I Want Another RX-7... Or Something *Long Rant*

So, Im not posting this in the technical area seeing as its not very technical at all. I am posting it here because its general in nature, however applies to the NW area because thats where Im from.

Basically, as many of you know, my 83 GSL was stollen a long time ago after I put plenty of time, effort, love and money into it. I got the shell back, and had planned on restoring it, although I havent been able to afford it. When I finally could afford to start work on it, the engine in my Toyota blew, so I was forced to pay for that. Now I have it on the road again, but using it as a daily driver has become...annoying. Im tired of not fitting in the parking garages at malls or not being able to go through drive throughs, Im tired of being pulled all over the road from the grooves because my tires catch them all, Im tired of not being able to manuver it anywhere because it has practically no turning radius, Im tired of the gas mileage actually getting WORSE on the highway because its been regeared and the cruise RPMs are higher when on the freeway than surface streets, etc. Im just getting a little fed up with the truck, however I love it and dont want to get rid of it. Anyway, Ive been seeing a few RX-7s out and about again since its becoming summer time again, and Im reminded of how much I loved just cruising in mine with the suroof open and the windows down with my girl. Unfortunatly shes gone now too, but I would be happy if I at least had the car back, lol.

On top of all that, Im also thinking of moving to Bellingham to go back to school (yay), but I dont want to try and take that huge truck up there and use it to commute around in that town. Theres no need for something so large, and I cant stand driving it up there and back home on the highway when I want to come home on the weekends, especially since it does so poorly on the highway. I need something more "car like" if that makes sense. Something comfortable to spend a decent amount of time in, and I loved my RX-7.

With all this in mind, you may be asking yourself "why dont you just get one then". Well, the simple answer is, I cant afford one. I just got back from Germany with my Army unit, and I dont have a day job as of right now, and with the plans to move to Bellingham soon, it seems silly to find a job for a month just to leave and try and find another job, although Im still looking (anyone have any hook ups?).

The real question I guess Im facing is, do I want to buy another RX-7, or simply try and follow my original dreams of trying to turbo charge the 83 GSL before it was stolen? Now would be a good time to drop a new engine in it since the reason it was stolen was because I lost the rear rotor and left it over night to tow it home. Got back to take it home the next day after renting a trailor and it was gone. Anyway, its a great position to start a turbo swap, but I fear that I would never finish it due to the lack of money, and if I just bought another whole car for a couple grand, I could enjoy it right away versus throwing even more cash into my 83.

Anyway, I guess since I have no money either way, its silly to even complain since I cant do anything about anything anyway, but damn it, its 1 AM, and no one is online to talk to, and I felt like complaining so I thought I would tell a bunch of complete strangers about it instead.
