I Am In Desperate Need Of Help!!

well, my car wont start lol. first i thought my battery was bad, so i got a new one and replaced it and it still wont start. it makes the sound like its about to start but then it doesnt. i dont know if its flooded from my dad stepping on the pedal to try to give it gas to start or if its cold start problems. or theres something wrong with my spark plugs or all that sort of mess. so i think it could be a number of things. can someone please help meeeee = ( thats my wish for the holidays is to get the 7 running.

Sounds flooded, and you touched the gas. Pull the EGI fuse and the lower plugs and turn the car over for a bit. That'll clear out the gas. Then try and start it.

Good idea. I +1 this but I also recommend removing the trailing plugs. Crank the starter several times, for several seconds at a time, until no smoke shoots out of the plug holes. The chambers are awash in fuel.

Clean the plugs off if you can. Once you put the plugs back in, give it a try again starting it but modulating the throttle mildly part-way. If that doesn't do it, put a half capful of ATF in the intake then give it a go.

Next thing to try would be jump-starting off of someone else's running car to get the starter to crank more quickly.

Or you can use the old 1 oz. of ATF in each rotor housing trick. Pull a plug from each housing, put in an oz of ATF, put the plugs back in, put your foot to the floor and start it.

The flooding washes the oil out, so you get no compression. The ATF restores the compression long enough to start.

Prepare for a large cloud of white smoke though...

If the car is an S5, just holding the accelerator to the floor until it starts.
Though I did have to resort to the ATF once on an S5.

It could be flooded as that's an infrequent but common nuisance for rotary engines. Good info to correct is found in the following websites: "Mark Tsai's" and "RX-7.com/techarticles". I've experienced the nuisance and so know that the articles give good info. Good luck.

Why don't you check the compression? If you can't find a compression-tester, at least pull the plugs and listen for even "whooshes" coming from the spark-plug holes while the engine is being turned over.

the only way i got my car to start after being flooded even after i did the pull the egi was a compression start. (poping the clutch). just find a hill and a few friends to push your car. or im my case your gf

i second that, that was my last resort and it worked....also check the back of your intake tube if you messed with it. i forgot about the hoses in the back and had a massive vac leak that kept killin my car when i didnt have my foot on the gas
