help finding coolant temp sensor

help finding coolant temp sensor

hey i need to find my coolant temp sensor, i bought a new one instead of parting it off my old car, hell it was 20 bucks, but i dont even know were the thing is and the coolant light buzzing at me is getting anoying cause i know it has enough coolant, alright hopefully someone knows were the ****** is cause i dont

The level sensor is in the top of the radiator. The sensor for the gauge is the little one in the rear iron. The sensor for the ECU is in the back of the waterpump.

The "Low Coolant" sensor is installed at the top of the radiator, near the filler neck. Item 7

ok cool, thanks guys ill **** with it tonight and see if i can find it, its prolly the one by the filler neck, but i bought i coolant temp sensor, because i thought it did both, oh well, ill install that and part the level sensor off my wrecked car

the one i think you might be talking about is depending on the year.. one it might be under neath the Intake Manifold.. or in my Complete overhauld book it says its by the oil filter.. ? i think the one in the book is for a s5 and mine is an s4 and its underneath the intake manifold right behind the air pump.

all coolent level sensors are in the top of the RAD( buzzer)

all of the gauge temp sensors are under neight of hte oil filter pedistal

all of the ECU coolent temp sensors , and AUX fan , are the one on the water pump housings

i think on my fd its the one on the watter filler neck, cause that was unplugged on my last car, (like it had shorted out on the previouse owner and wass unpluged) its not really needed is it? i check on the coolant every so often,
