First Dyno Run

I'm really happy with my horsepower, though i'd like to see the torque a bit higher. My car currently is running stock ports, R-tek 1.5 chipped ecu, and it hasnt been tuned yet.

The psi i was pushing was 17 pounds.

300hp is pretty much maxed out with my fuel mods. If i want to go any higher ill have to get some bigger injectors and a standalone.

Not bad numbers for the stock ports. I would be very careful with those AFR's. Those dont look good at anything above 5k rpm. You better get some more fuel or it wont last long...

I'll go ahead tonight and mess with the safc. I currently have stock primaries and 720cc secondaries with a walbro 255. Those mods are pretty much maxed out for 300hp. I'll need to go bigger on the secondaries.

Ya, if i was you id throw a set of 1000's in there. that may help with your lean condition at 5k. I would just be cautious when driving that and boosting it. just keep the boost down until you get some bigger injectors. with the amount of money you have just stuck into it, it would stuck to blow a seal. Get a microtech!!

Whats nice is that bigger injectors are pretty cheap, plus i already have an aftermarket 2ndary fuel rail. I'll just need some fittings.

1600's only 89 bucks.....now only if mine would hurry up and arrive.

1000's are 99 buckaroos.

Where did you dyno at? Tacoma?

Also, is it possible to change the position of your AFM? Seems kinda like that position would be hindering the flapper from opening properly

Pretty impressive Wally, are you running a stage 2 or 3 BNR. Danger Danger on the afr, in case no one mentioned that.
Intec racing in Kent.? I going to be buying a wide band setup pretty quick, let me know if you have any info or want any info on one.

I might just keep the same fuel pump. What i do need is an fpr though. I'll be looking into a pair of 1000cc for my secondaries soon.

Once i get more money it's standalone time.

Very impressive!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would spend the $25 and upgrade to 1.7

Do you have a wideband? If you don't you need one. Its amazing how easy it is to get HP out of a T2.

I need a wideband. I tried messing with the safc by looking at my o2 on the dyno sheet. I also figured out my boost controller so it doesnt overboost now. On hi i hit 15psi and it stays.

I would'nt be boosting at all, until you get the fuel system and the car tuned. You're playing with fire, and I'll bet you $$ the car will last less than a month. I'm not trying to be a jerk, but its just plain stupidity to be running a car that lean....even if you did turn the boost down to 15lbs. CJ

Ya, SAFC IMO is junk. I had a friend that used one a couple years ago and he went through 4 engines in one year. He basically had the same setup you did, and it was the most unreliable car. I would run stock boost for now, by a $700 microtech and grab some 720 primaries and 1600 secondaries and a FPR then you can run 15-17 safely.
