Lol, when it's a rolling chassis. But you pulled the cat out of the hat, soo...
Hey everybody, Marc and I just bought an 1993 R1 chassis. I get the chassis to make into a race car and Marc get the interior, etc. and will be selling them shortly. Need to put a new front clip in, which comes with the purchase, just need to remove the heavily damage front end that on it now.
Peace

Update
Removed the 99 spec bumper and will be fitting up and installing the GTC bumper this week.
Sprung a leak on the driver side oil cooler, no visible signs of damage so will have to pressure test it to see where the leak is. Kinda of unusual, anyways I will see if it's repairable. In the mean time I line looped the system so I'm running with only one gigantic oil cooler.

Also, just recently installed the fast reacting Triumph AIT sensor, will see if they're is any noticeable change in the tune with the more accurate air temp readings. This will help great with sudden changes in air temps when I eventually put an AI system in the car.

This same week I will be removing the sound deadening off my R1 chassis to get it prepped for the new front clip. By the end of next week I should have a rolling chassis.
The clay modeler has completed one side of my front diffuser and is currently work on a mirror copy this month. If all goes to plan I should have my custom front splitter/diffuser done by mid August. Then the rear diffuser and the adapter piece that will allow my front splitter to be used on a 99 spec/stock front bumper.
Peace

Contact Japan2LA for shipping cost, I had it shipped to my work since it's a commercial address.
I checked multiple sources and they all say .719 is the fifth gear ratio for the USDM tranny.

Damn that's a good price for those tires.
130F on thermal temp strips at the throttle body. Saw an 80 degree drop at the boost silinoid after applying the gold heat shield.

Adam,
A few questions: What is the engine oil type and viscosity your currently using? And what, if any oil modifications have you made to the engine "block"/pump? And lastly, what are your oil pressures at idle and through the rpm range? Thank you for your answers dawg!!!

Ported and smoothed out all the oil ports on the block. Mainly eliminating flash from the casting process.
No pump mods done at this time - may go dry sump in the future.
Idle pressure ~ 30-40 psi
Cruise ~ 80-105 psi
WOT High rpms ~ 110-120 psi
Will be doing the AR track day at PIR next Thursday and will be doing the Aug 7th AutoX at Packwood with the PCA club.

Alright started mocking up the GTC bumper and everything doesn't quite fit. Will need to do some tweaking before sanding and paint. This week is going to suck....
