I bought a 1992 Ford F-150 4x4 with a 302 V8 (5.0) for $1 from my dad a few years back..... It had 226,000 miles on it, and needed some electrical work and alot of TLC. Then was able to trade that and $350 for a 1990 Eagle Talon TSi FWD, which I drove for 4 months and then sold for $1750.... You got a nice one though! I've always wanted one of those!

My friend traded a 12 pack of bud light bottles to a 18y/o duschebag for a running titled 79 Rabbit. He felt bad and gave it back a week later, after hammering the car of course.

I bought a 87 turbo 2 for $500.00 out of a towing yard. Had full turbo back racing beat exhaust, intake, FCD, and under the drivers seat I found a receipt book of all parts bought and it just recently had a engine overhaul with 3mm apex seals. Total receipts was like over 6k worth of parts. Then I found a guy selling a 88Rx7 for $100.00 because his landlord said it needed to go. All I did was install some used set of plugs and fired that bitch up and off i went. Sold it the following week for $600.00 After that I sold my turbo 2 for $3,800 that summer.

I got a 84' GSL FB for $50. Only thing that was wrong with it was the brake caliper that had locked up. Had her running but ended up seeling it as a parts car to a guy for $300.

Two years ago ...

Clean, straight, red; 93 FD $1000.

Prior owner didn't want to pay the dealership a few bucks to diagnose the massive coolant leak and thought the engine was blown. All it needed was an AST.

I hope you mean "don't believe it"... as in "it's difficult to understand but I believe you." as opposed to "I don't believe what you claim and you're not being truthful."...
