can someone with a truck help me out.

Hey one of my cars flooded after a jillion times of me tryin to start it without it turning over...(had a bad ground on teh starter) Anyways got it all back together and its flooded. Tried the tricks, as usual they suck. so looking for someone local if they got some free time to help me out and drag my car down the road so i can kick start the mother effer. (works like a charm) I dont got a truck or friends with trucks and this would save me alot of time and frustration. My cars out in yelm, I will be in olympia tommaro from 10-1pm so if ya could meet and follow me. Me love you long time.!

There is a slim chance that I might be able to break away and give you a tow. I'll have to check with the wife. We have her family over the Thanksgiving weekend but they may be heading back south tomorrow. If so, I could meet you in Yelm and see if we can pull start your car. I've got a Explorer with a V8 and tow package so the pulling isn't a problem. I don't have a rope long/strong enough however so you'd have to supply the rope. Rope or strap works better than chain, a lot more give.

Yelm is a 40-45 minute drive from UP. I go there a lot however, since I have an office in Yelm. I see patients there once a week (Wednesdays) and have been moving the office so I've been out there a lot doing work on it. If I can break away, I'll give you a call. If I can do it, you should hear from me by noon.

If today doesn't work out and you can wait until Wednesday, I can drive the Explorer out to Yelm when I go to work and could meet you afterwards and get you started. I'm typically done seeing patients around 5:00 - 5:30.

Dave

Sorry I wasn't able to get away today.

I'm an optometric physician and have a practice in UP and in Yelm with my associate Dr. Kim Eckroth.

If you still need the pull start on Wednesday afternoon, just let me know. I'm typically done with my last patient around 5:00 or 5:30 in Yelm.

Glad you got it running. I was going to check if you wanted help on Wednesday.

I just bought a battery tender for my son's R6. Being the idiot that I am, I didn't realize that the R6 didn't really start to charge the battery until well over 4k rpm. Anyway, $30 at Autozone and now I can keep all my cars juiced up over the winter.
