I just want to throw this out there one more time, since it looks like we are definitely going to be doing this in June. Since June starts on a Sunday I really doubt that we would do it on that day, but I would like to also request that we don't. Any time after June first is fine with me.

I have been leaning towards Rtek because of the price, and simplicity. I'd enjoy to learn more about the PFC next Izzy's meeting.

What are Steve's rates for a sub 300hp tune on pump gas? Need to know sometime soon as I have to budget for everything in advance.

Clayton, I will not be at Izzy's tonight. I am going to get stuck at work. Prices are not by hp but what turbo and how much boost you are running. I think that the rates are on the 2nd or 3rd page in this thread.

I have not been able to get a hold of Guanco. Either way we will not make March or April. We are 1 person short for March.

 

Im still in, let me know if you want a deposit.

 

Ok, I have tried to call Guanco a couple times. No answer. Let's keep this thing rolling. We can fit him in as things progress.

If there are no objections I am going to schedule the first tune for the end of may. Deposits will be collected at the end or April.

The second session will be in July. Time preference?

I'm tryin to see if I can fit a fuel system and tune into my budget. Right now it's not looking like I will be able to...

 

Steve flies all around the world tuning cars. His specialty is rotary, but he also tunes piston motors. I would reccomend doing a search on this board for more information. All I know is that he tuned my car the first time and it rips. Getting setup with competent people the first time is essential.

yeah (MR2 seth) if all goes well, still need to figure out if the tec3 will run with the VVTI system or not but either way I'd like to run the bigger pulley on the sc and get it running right before the big MR2 meet in July. I'd really like steve to tune it because I have no clue on how to do that but again no real big issue on my end, if and when I get all my stuff sorted out I can always take it to peyolas in oregon city and work on the dyno their. Either way I'd like to show up to one of the tuning session and see how thing go.

 

Spectators are always welcome. Brian has a nice room that allows for viewing of the dyno.

For the guys confirmed for May 31st, is it ok I if Steve tunes my car first? I plan on driving back to Boise that same day.

 

I might be up for the May 31st tune-session... Not sure how much it matters, but I'll probably be done with my setup and ready for a tune by then. Let me know if it's possible to "switch" over, or how long I have before everything is etched in stone. If not possible--no biggie.
