Yeah, the last time we meet was a few years ago at ABF . Unfortunately, My wife and I had too much going on to make it to ABF this year. We'll be there next time though.

I'll try and talk to Steve today.

For all of us that are going to get our cars tuned, Steve recommends we register on kantuning.com and log in all our mods.

I'm even going to PM him my current map so he can get a head start.

Wow, because of recent information I have received I would like to change my status back to pending for July 26th tune. I will let you know by the end of the week if I will be getting a Steve Kan tune or not. Starting to sway to the NOT side.

lol tweak you will find probably less than 1 out of every hundred people will bitch about steve being a horrible tuner and him being the reason their car took a dive... you have nothing to worry about. steve is a great tuner and I don't know a single person here in the nw who has been displeased with his abilities. David (z-beater) had his car tuned and it runs amazing. I believe Aaron's turbo FB (notverryhappyjack) originally owned and built by woundup7 was tuned by steve as well and is unbelievably quick and runs great as well.

No, but my doctor says I tested positive for RX7BP, or RX-7 Bi-Polar. One day I love the car, one day I hate it, one day I'm going V8, one day I'm going RE, v-mount, no v-mount, porting, not porting, it's a never ending cycle. In the end I think I always make the best decision. Sometimes I have to jump on the other side of the fence for a while and check to make sure the grass isn't really as green as it looks.

Ok tune session is set for Sat May 31st at Jet City Tuning. I booked the dyno for the entire day. I believe that I was quoted 525. With 5 people that means just over 100/ person.

I am going to talk with Kevin(owner of Jet City) again tonight and lock in an arrival time and more solid price. I want to get this schedule rolling though. I am going to start the first time at 9:00. We might need to shift it earlier or later depending on what I find out.

9:00
11:00
1:00
3:00

What about the June 1st session? I thought Steve would be here on June 1st (Sunday) for tuning session too, and that is the day/date that I would like.

It's probably about a 60 minute drive from Everett. Maybe a little more since it's down off Meridian

Here is the address for Jet City Tuning:
Jet City Tuning Inc.
14706 Meridian Ave East #12/#13
Puyallup,WA

David,
Any possibility of some open time on the dyno? We got a couple little mods over the weekend and would like to run the Volvo, if it's possible. Either way, we will come down and hang out for a bit. Let me know if there is anything we can do to give you a hand too.

Tweak - we had notveryhappyjacks turbo fb tuned by Steve twice and I was amazed at the results, not only higher hp numbers, but more importantly the driveability of the car was drastically improved. I would highly recommend that anyone who wants their car tuned to jump on these opportunities.

Hey Dave if you need a hand with anything let us know, air port runs for Steve, parts runs, what evers, Can you post up the address for Jet city tuning,?, and far as I am concearned Steve Kan is simply the best, I have had Ralph at G.Z. and Steve Kan both tune my former turbo FB, Ralph is quite good, but Steve is a Phenom. Hope everyone is ready.!!

I just bought a PFC so if I can get it installed and running on the base map in time, I'd like it tuned. I may be good for the July date.

Jogar, I have a call into Jet City. Plan on tuning Saturday night. I think that he would rather run one long day. I will confirm this plan once he calls me back.

Sorry for the delay all, I have been really busy. If you need me, contact rotorette or Woundup7. They can give me a call letting me know that I need to get on the board.

I don't think that should be too much of an issue. Just baby it down to the dyno. If you are really worried then you can trailer it.

We do have room for one more. No more after this. I will leave a spot open for Rick. But you are the last to join. You need to contact Steve ASAP. His forum name is Pluto. Arrange how he wants to recieve the deposit. Once you do this I will lock you in on the dyno.

Michelle, thanks for the support. I will let you know if I need anything. Take a look below for the answer to the dyno question.

Chris, missing the FB?

I do not know if we will have an open spot for a pull. We can play it by ear though. We will be paying a flat rate for the entire day. I have a call into Jet City and I will ask them for you.

One more time. Please show up to the Dyno 45mins in advance. The reason that I say this is because there is a little slack built into the schedule. If you are early we will get you on the dyno sooner than later.

Weekend of May 31st:

Cosmo105 Confirmed/Paid 8:30AM
Poorboy Confirmed/Paid 10:30AM
SethwConfirmed/ Paid 12:30PM
JackRd1 Confirmed 2:30PM
RickRX7 - maybe Confirmed/ Paid 4:30
Johgar Confirmed/Paid 6:00PM

Price for the dyno will be $100 per person. PM me if you have any questions about this.

I talked with Jet City this morning. He wanted to start at 10:00 but I insisted that we start at 9:00. This schedule is 99% set now. Let me know ASAP if you have problems with your time.

Steve will be here the entire weekend but only tuning one day.

I recommend that you change: oil, oil filter, spark plugs, fuel filters and work out any major bugs you have before coming to the dyno.

Weekend of May 31st:

Cosmo105 Confirmed/Paid 9:00AM
Poorboy Confirmed/Paid 10:00AM
SethwConfirmed/ Paid 12:00PM
JackRd1 Confirmed 2:00PM
RickRX7 - maybe Confirmed 4:00PM
