that glowing white looking object on the top of the axe is a 5 dollar bill, just put there to show the scale and perspective of how big this thing really is... just thought id throw this out there.

put an edge on one of the blades today, and after 3+ hours of grinding and like 5 seconds of trying to swing the damn thing im burnt out. it just kind falls on the wood were trying to cut as the damn thing is so heavy i can barely raise it up let alone swing it.

 

how much does that thing weight??

 

be carfull with that thing. Lets take polls on how long till mods break it up, I say 2 days.

well the center section is made out of 3" x 3" 1/4" wall swuare stock, and the blade section is made out of 1/8" flat stock, then the blade edge is made out of ground down 1/2" hot rolled stock. total weight maybe some ...just went and weighed it, it actually only weighs 25 lbs... most of the weight is in the head... its just a really long handle... i really thought it would have weighted more then that...
