Soo.. i haven't even owned my 89 for a week and i got a ticket this morning on I5 near fed. way. got lasered at 83. i was just cruising and didn't notice my speed. Now i gotta call up mitch greene to try and get rid of this. Just pissed off at myself. this is the 2nd ticket in two weeks. the first one was in my pos civic. Although I'm very happy with the FC, it's super fun to drive. Guess the rumors are true about a red sports car. i really do need to slow down.

Yes, reds a bad color. I've had more tickets/problems in my red 7s then I did in my bright yellow with black racing strips mustang. And I was even younger and dumber when I was in the mustang. Go figure.

I picked it up from my uncle who didn't find it practical to drive to everett every morning. I work in Tacoma and i find it practical I love it.

 

yeah i got my ticket at 6:52am, didn't help that i was in the left lane with an open stretch of road. it was near exit 149. bottom of the hill.

 

oh see i should have been around that time but i slept in and was doing it around more around 9ish. i guess im just lucky and have traffic to cover my ***

 

oh and sweet jesus that thing is clean.

 

Thanks!, i have more pictures but i rather black out the license plate before i post them up. there's 122k on the chassis, 15k on the motor we rebuilt. The paint was pretty oxidized when i got it. then i got it detailed and it brought the paint right back. it's pretty straight with a few small dings and dents, like any other 16 year old car would have. The stock exhaust leaks and the tips are rusted out so, I ordered that motoria exhaust from the group buy, and i'm going to cut off the fart cans and weld in some borla's.

 

i drive a pretty well modified VR FD and i drive like an idiot most of the time...never been pulled over and ive owned it for two years almost.

Ha, same here, but not the fd part. Though I did get a ticket, but it was not a moving violation.

Anyway, what i always do on the freeway is moving with the speed of traffic. If everyone goes 60 ill go 60, if everyone goes 80 ill go 80, etc. Just yesterday I went towards Federal Way. As i come off the offramp from 405 to I-5 I guned it like crazy. About a couple second later i didnt notice that a cop came onto the freeway. I just hit behind a truck the whole time.

 

well that sucks. at least you are gonna fight it. if your around exit 147 satuirday morning you should stop by the park and ride for the toy run. you'll enjoy it.
