Ouch!

I was having the 305 engine swapped out and a 350 put back in.

The shop doing it left it in gear and started it up. It went bolting out of the shop, bounced off the owners car out side, zoomed across the parking lot and slammed into a building.

It wiped part of the building out, broke the windshield, dented the fenders, headlights and bumper, before stopping.

The bad news is that it still overheats.

Happy Fourth of July. Looks like I'll need a 5th on the 4th.

Woah, thats... really crappy.
I hope that it works out alright in the end, and ya can get it fixed... both all the messups from just now and the overheating thing.

For a manual, it's in case the ebrake fails.

in all my life, i've never personally seen an ebrake fail on any cars either my parents or i have owned... hence why i don't leave it in gear when the car is off...

My friend's Nova from high school had his ebrake fail, and it rolled back into the fence for the tennis court. Not saying it happens often, but it happens
