Wiring loom in wheel arches

Hi i have a 99fd3s. Just a quick question i had a search but couldnt find anything on the subject. I have some 18x9 9.5 +11 work meisters up front that iam going to put on in the next few weeks i dont really want the wiring looms left in the guards because the tyres will wear through the wiring . I was just wondering how many of yous have taken it out and redirected it? any help would be great thanks .

I haven't done this on an rx7 but on a few other cars. I would advise against it if you are even slightly on the fence . it is a bit involved and depending on how accessible you want those wires, you may have to make some compromises regarding space and aesthetics. you should be able to pull the wiring in toward the engine bay close enough to avoid interference without entirely re routing it. if you are still too close for comfort, adjust ride height camber or add spacers for clearance.
