will not start

I am looking to buy a 84 rx7. It ran befor it sat all winter. some one told the owner that if we pulled the plugs and dumpped a "little" in each plug hole it would fix the compretion problem. it this true?

forgot

this is an addendum to my last post. I acctualy need to know befor thursday the 23. thats when I am supposed to pick it up. so if any one out there has any ideas I would appriciate the input.

That would be worth a try. Put an ounce or so of light oil in each rotor housing via the plug holes. Fully charge the battery (important). Depending on how long the car actually sat without running, the fuel may need replacement. A few months is OK, but if it REALLY sat for a year or longer, replace the fuel.

Seafoam works better than oil, or just about anything else that I've found. Dump an ounce or two down the carb, or into the spark plug holes if its fuel injected. She should start right up, but will produce a cloud of white smoke until the Seafoam burns off. Cleans the motor out really nicely too. Dump the remainder of the can into the gas tank and take it for a spin...
