The best way to deflood the engine would be to disconnect the Circuit Opening relay which cuts power to the fuel pump (relay is yellow and black w/5 wires and it's located to the right of the steering column) and then shoot 2 seconds worth of starter fluid into the air intake and then try to start the car. The car should start just for a brief moment then die out then do this at least one more time, perhaps two, and then reconnect the relay and try to start the car normally.
I am looking for any help and suggestions that is out there. I have a 88 rx7 13b na. It has been freshly rebuilt and I have checked to make sure all the plug wires are connected to the proper locations. I have fire, and fuel. I have made sure my mass air flow meter is hooked up. I have reset the cas several times. I have fuel to my primary injectors. You can smell the fuel, it cranks but won't start. Can ANYONE solve my mystery? Thanks in advance.

Check the 15 amp Engine fuse in the interior fuse box and the 40 amp EGI INJ fuse in the engine fuse box. Pull off the White 2 wire plug at the leading coil and see if there is 12 volts on the Black/Yellow wire w/key to on. If there is then the two fuses mentioned are good.
