so i just got a 1991 FC non turbo, and im new to the RX7 world. i want to know what this button does on my center counsel. it sits right next to the little change holders and above my mirror adjuster switch. its small and circular in shape. it has no markings on it.

 

a pic would help. sounds like something someone added. anything factory will be labeled.

Looks custom to me but mine also doesnt have power anything.

 

You can just pull that cover off, the square part that has everything, security light, mirrors and, button, it just snaps in the center console, and track the wires from the button to see where they go.

 

Stock Fog Lights??????

 

nope not the fog lights. i might try to pop the cover off like whoknows suggested

 

Might be a kill switch my first 7 had a random switch in the center console when I bought it and it killed the power to the fuel pump for deflooding purposes.

 

Looks like a driving light switch to me.

 

i took it apart and it has a black and yellow wire connected to it that leads towards the dash, then i lose it
