What e fan from a taurus to use
I have been reading about the electric fans to use. I was wondering what year model I should get the e fan off a taurus from or if there are any other good ones. Or after market from summit racing or jegs or something. Please help

for a Sec gen Rx7?
get a Mercury Villager Fan(95-98)..from a Villager Van.
They Fit Perfect on a Koyo aftermarket rad,so in "theory" they should also fit a stock rad just fine.
The Fan puts out a "hell of alot " of CFM on HI.(3500 or more)
I got one on my Car,The Body kit hinders the air flow. When I put that Fan on,Holy COW!.it brought the Temp down to 180F.

ive done e fan on my fc. mine is from a ford toarus. just be sure to get the wireing so you can wire it in. there shld be three. black yellow and orange. black is ground duh. and orange is high speed and yellow is low speed i believe. my fan keeps my coolant just above c on the stock temp gauge. i dont run it all the time. use some good thick wire. i used 12 gauge. or ten ? hmmm.

and also i ran just a toggle switch between the hot wire to the battery. some people hook it to a fuse but decided not to and did it directly to the battery so use heavy gauge wire otherwise it will be catching on fire lol happened to me once at a drift meet. i used real thin wire. that was dumb!

I use a Relay,Connect the HI power side directly to Positive,
The Relay is Switched ON by the Black/Red wire on teh six pin connector near the leading coil.
I HAD it on a Toggle switch that you could just switch ON when you start the car.BUT,and Trust me on this,YOU CAN FORGET,.and this will make your Car go into "kill the KEG" mode!.That is why I took the power off the Switched wire,Now I don't have to worry about not turning it on,It comes on when the key is ON.
NOTE EDIT: use www.aaroncake.net for a Schematic on how to wire up the fan.there are a couple variations With and without senders/thermoswitches.you can use whatever you feel comfortable with.

Use a relay.. and if you use a switch, wire it to the 12v ign switch NOT the power wire running directly to the power source for the fan (the battery). I have mine on a relay switched with the 12v ign in the spot mentioned above. Then I have a PWM fan controller on. So at 170, it turns the fan on 50% and as the temp rises, the speed of the fan rises until 200 degrees at which case it'll be running at 100%.
