You're going to have to post a link to the kit or a picture.

But I'm not aware of any kits currently in production to turbocharge the NA.

I think the proper question to ask is not whether it will bolt to the engine and "work" but rather will it properly function together, with the engine and ONLY the kit, to operate within parameters that would promote power gains. Looking at the kit on eBay, I see no fuel management, FPR, and otherwise means to compensate for the add'l air with add'l fuel. I'd be careful strapping it to a stock NA 13b with nothing else, as things are likely to go south when doing your own trial and error customization. She's already picky and choosy...

A Chinese turbo & exhaust manifold is not a "turbo kit". Adapting any aftermarket turbo to a high compression engine will require extensive modifications and $$. Fuel, fuel control, timing control, intercooling, clutch upgrading, drivetrain upgrading, etc... must all be addressed. This is especially true with something as large as a knock-off GT-45. A turbo with those dimensions is capable of power in the 600+ whp range.

Lower price products will end up giving you lower quality results, best to opt for doing a turbo swap or switch to a turbo II.

It would cost less in the long run to do the TII swap

i would definitely avoid ebay turbos and stick with well known brands such as garret, turbonetics, holset, borg warner, or other well known brands. ebay turbos are well known for blowing. also theres more to a turbo kit than just the kit itself. youll need a variety of parts such as injectors, fuel management, and many other supporting mods.

except turbonetics, which are generally overpriced menacing looking things that usually perform like a mouse.
