Hello, I have an imported 1997 mazda rx7, while I was visiting japan I was looking for a midpipe to replace where my resonator is to make it louder. I found one and tried to install it today, but found 2 things connected to my resonator that I'm confused about. The first being a small steel braided line hooked on with 2 small nuts, when pulled out it looks like just a small metal tube, I'm assuming some emissions stuff. The other more confusing one is a metal tube welded onto the resonator, and connected to another metal tube with a small gasket in between with a pinhole sized hole in the middle of the gasket. The tube then turns to a rubber hose and runs towards the front of the car. I don't know what either of those are, yes I've tried searching, and browsed the forums, but no dice. Sorry for being long winded!
