Transmissoin oil ?'s
Transmissoin oil ?'s
I have a 1985 Gsl and i just replaced the transmission no i need to know what oil to put in. i want to use royal purple ATF synthetic. Is that a good choice or what should i use. i welcome anyones opinion.
I used heavy-weight lucas oil on mine. It was expensive.
If you have an auto, call royal purple and ask if they recommend the usage of that fluid with your transmission...or wait for someone with a better answer than me.

put 75W90 in the tranny unless it's a slushbox.

I generally just use 75-90 Amsoil synthetic. ATF is for automatics, so unless yours is, you need proper gear oil.
