ON Vaccum line, oil pressure question

hey what kind of oil pressure should i have at idle?



^^^ and that line where is that supposed to go? its to the immediate right of the intake manifold when standing in front of the car

its a 91 N/a car

It should be around 30 psi at idle. But the stock oil pressure senders aren't exactly reliable.

Download the S5 factory service manual (FSM), and take a look at the vacuum diagram in the fuel & emissions section to find where that line goes.

ya i found that part out about the vacuum line

but as far as oil pressure goes on my cluster? what should it show or is it not accurate

at idle it could not even show anything, like he said above, there not reliable. You will need a mech gauge to really tell what is going on.

20psi is about the lowest I have ever heard of, with 60psi being the top at Idle
