#1 I have an 87 Turbo II and my transmission grinds in 2nd and 5th.

#2 I found an N/A S5 transmission for cheap...will it work to swap out?

No, you will need another TII transmission of any year. An S5 transmission will also need the matching crossmember.

Ok, so where is the best place to find a good condition TII trans? I have been checking locally for the past two weeks to no avail. Thanks for your help.
