I tried looking through the forms and couldn't find anything.

So my 1993 FD every time I take a left-hand turn the input like delays halfway through the turn. what I mean by that is I will be turning the wheel to make the turn as I'm driving and about a quarter to halfway through the turn the whole steering input like pauses for a split second and then continues after that. it doesn't straighten or anything it just pauses at the angle it's at.

my guess is that there may be an issue with the steering rack. should be able to feel it sitting still and just turning the wheel.

Check your inner and outer tie rod ends for play.

I’m not sure about 3rd gen’s, but I know 2nd gens have ujoints which connect the steering column to the rack and pinion. Most cars are the same system.

the ujoints have to be good and in-phase or there will be dead spots while turning the steering wheel.
