Starting issues?
How's it goin guys, new to the site seeing if someone can give me advice.
I have an 88 rx7 gtu with an 89 13b in it. From what I know the car is stock besides flow masters. I bought a new battery 2 weeks ago, new alternator a week ago and having starting/charging issues. Some days the car will start no problem and drive just fine, other days not so much.
Pretty sure the starter is ****, but when I drive it's just fine. Go to shut it off and when I want to leave again there's nothing but the starter click, doesn't even make an attempt to turn over. I had a car try to jump me about an hour ago and had the fc hooked up to his car properly for about 20 minutes and nothing. This is extremely frustrating and I hate to see a good car go to waste... Any help at all would be appreciated!

Before you go buying a starter, try cleaning all connections associated with the Starter wiring.
IF you think it is a wiring issue then you can use a booster cable to help the diagnosis.
This will rule things out.
For NEG,hook a cable from battery to ENGINE..start the car.IF the car did NOT start before but now DOES then this is the Problem,Bad ground.
For POS,hook a cable from POS Battery to the POS Starter post.If the car did not start before but now does you need to replace that POS cable run.
I would normally tell you to check the Battery terminals and clean them, but if you already tried boosting the car, then that tells me that your Connections may be OK and it may be further down the line..But check them anyways and that knocks one thing off the list.
