so I recieved a 93 auto tt from a friend. the engine, transmission ect is out of the car and in peices. I know im missing alot of stuff thats under the hood. so heres what im thinking.
...get a front clip that has everything I need and do the auto to manual conversion at the same time. (keeping the car lhd)
my question is....what will I NOT be able to use from the jdm?
is the wiring harness from the jdm usable?
the car came with a stand alone ecu so I wont use the jdm. cant remember the name at the moment.
any list of what I can and can't use would help. thanks.

I read most of those. alot of good info amd feedback from people doing auto to manual conversions. but im also doing a front clip swap as well. its the wiring harness and dash im wondering about mostly.
can I use the jdm harness?
can I use my usdm auto dash?

 

Reading schematics is generally above my small brain. But if your better at it, the answers might be in the wiring diagrams....
