On a rx7, i dont know what it looks like, but on my 89 tt supra it was some sort of litle gray/silver box/fuse behind the cluster. Maybe if you throw us a pic or two it would be helpful to point it out

Speed alert buzzer? I didn't even know FCs had those. 107 kph is like 67 mph... that makes absolutely no sense for it to have a speed buzzer or governor at such a low speed. Then again I am in the states so it may be different for our FCs. Make sure it isn't your coolant or oil buzzer lol.

Jspec cars have a speed limiter. It can be disabled by removing a screw on the instrument cluster circuit board. There's apparently the number '180' printed on the board next to it.

This is no limiter, but a speed alarm.
Jspec have this feature, if you run over ~105km/h... It goes ding ding and faster you go, more it "ding"

I found a post on an Australian forum that says to remove a screw marked "100k 120k", instead of the 180 listed above.

The OP (back in 2009) was in Canada. You guys have this buzzer problem here in the States? My goodness, the speed limit on the PA Turnpike is 70 and you can pass a State Trooper doing 79 without him noticing. A buzzer on from 67mph and up would be unbearable.
