sparkplugs

would like to know what most cars are running right now. BUR7EQP, BUR9EQP

for leading and trailing is what every 1 recommends to me when i go to a parts store. So thats what i threw on about 3000km ago last tuneup. Now if i am not wrong these are platinum. I was thinking of going with some better plugs maybe iridium? Some said thats exactly how long the platinums last in your car if its a turbo car. Would like to get some suggestions cause i think my car is not burning the fuel properly right now due to lack of combustion expecially from my leadings. Would just changing the leadings to 9's help or should getting iridium in place of platinums be better? Thank you very much for any suggestions

The side the steering wheel is on isn't going to have anything to do with spark plugs. Reference the 93+ FSM for suggested spark plugs, and buy whatever you're comfortable with. Platinum and iridium should last longer than standard NGK plugs, but they come at a higher cost. Is there some reason you think your leading plugs aren't igniting the mixture properly? The leading plugs do 90% of the work, so you would know if there was a problem immediately due to power loss / ignition break-up. 9s are colder plugs, and should only be needed if you're producing significantly more power than stock.

well its been 3000 km since i changed the spark plugs. And when i press full throttle on the gas all it does it just sputters and idles low when i turn the car on. And back fires a lot. So i was thinking that since there is not enough ignition right now to burn all that fuel hence all that backfiring?? what do u guys think? as for the spark plugs i am sure they were platinums. Would it make any diffference to go laser platinums for a more longer lasting plug?

Check engine codes: http://www.banzai-racing.com/FD&S5_error_codes.htm. You're probably in limp mode.
