Smoky oil?????

Hey guys, I have a question. Today I decided to drive my little rx7 since I haven't driven her in a week or so. After like 10 mins of cruising I've decided to check the oil since we had a little puddle of oil in our garage. When I pulled the dipstick out., the oil was steaming?? Is it natural for these cars to do that?? I'm a little worried. Thanks!!

the oil gets pretty hot, but that's probably not something you don't already know. if you're seeing steam, it may be moisture in the pan/system.

when was your last oil change?
