This is for a FC, correct? If so, it is for the Oil Pressure Gauge and used to smooth out the pulses from the Sender, making the gauge needle move smoother. I believe the First gen and FD work similarly, but may use a different Capacitor/Condenser. Some claim that there is no issue with omitting the Capacitor, while others say it will burn out the gauge. Unfortunately, I don't have any definitive information to say for certain one way or the other about what would happen.

Anyway, Digikey is a good place to start the search for a suitable capacitor. Just make sure it can handle the temperatures found in this location.

The wire from my condenser broke off over the years, I did not notice any change in my oil pressure gauge!
