VA searching for more cooling fan CFM's...

Has any one made a cooling fan swap that made a significant difference in temperature drop???? I have read the cooling fan mod. That's alright. But im sure there is someone who didn't like the stock set up fans and replaced them for something bigger and with a way better cooling effect. If this is true, then the wiring also was rigged different. Please, correct me if I'm wrong.

This has been a long discussed subject since FD's came out. I have seen How to change factory fan speed but not much of "bigger and faster fans". Can anyone point me to the right direction or "link" for this upgrade? Thanks.

The big reason you don't see much of this is because the factory fans are quite good.

I happen to believe in the thermoswitch mod and a higher capacity radiator. Oh, and absolutely make sure your ducting is good and leak-free.

The factory fans are very good. If you are going to upgrade them look to high-quality stuff like SPAL. Avoid FAL (FlexALight) as I have had them fail in the past in multiple applications.

Almost more important than fans in the FD is the ducting and routing. If you have a FMIC you really must pay extra attention here. Lots of cheap FMIC setups cause more issues than they solve.
