I installed a short shifter about a month ago and screwed up the trans doing that so that it was stuck in reverse. i had to go into the side of the transmission housing with an alan wrench to get the gear back into place. I did that all fine but I just got the car started for the first time since that happened and i can’t move the gear stick into reverse. I drove it around a little and everything else works perfectly fine (only got up to fourth gear). i dont want to put the stock shifter back in in case i do the same thing i did putting the short shifter in. any suggestions on what could cause that/a solution? thx
