S4 engine on s5

Hi, i need some help. I have mazda rx7fc s5 turbo2 with all instalation,intake manifold and other things. Can i put an s4 engine in my car with an s5 all other things. Sorry for my english. Thanks

Yes it can be done but only worth it assuming you are getting the motor for a decent price between the s4 and s5 in only about 400 dollars in difference if you are on stock ecu u will need a stock s4 ecu due to the difference in wiring or possibly re pin

from what i've read there's a difference in the ecu between the s4 and s5. probably some wiring and sensors too. do a forum search, this has been covered.

if you put the s4 keg in, but bolt on ALL your s5 accesories (intake setups, wiring, electrical plugs etc) it will run it fine. One major thing though is you'll have to change the front cover if you want to keep the S5 OMP working like stock
