Runnin Rich?

Hey guys what do i do if i think my cars runnin to rich, everytime im WOT and shift the car backfires *KERPOW*

and i smell like ive been mowin the lawn everytime i get outta my car just wreak like gas n exhaust... Any help appreciated.
