AZ Rebuild NA, or swap for TII/LS1?

Basically I need some quotes from any local shops in Az that specializes in rx7s. I'd like to know some details like warranty of course. Id also like to hear some personal experiences from some AZ members that have had a rebuild/swap done to there car. I need out the door prices. I need all the info I can get without moving my car lol. I'm interested in both swaps or a rebuild. Thx I know I can always rely on you guys.

better off starting with what your plans for the car plan to be.

next you should determine on your own whether you want a swap or stick with what you have and what your budget will even allow for. most swaps are going to set you back at least $5k when it's all said and done.

all your questions can be answered with a little research.

Like the above post said.
You should decide which route you are going to take and if you are ready to drop big bucks on the swap, but i can tell you that its all worth it, cant compare the V8 power to anything else. good luck buddy

I really just want my ride to be reliable so I can take her out of town and stuff. I'd like mildly street port it, but I really want it turbo if it's not too much more. Install the Ls1, TII or just street port and add the turbo? All 3 sound good to me as long as the price and warranty is right. As of right now I'm juss curious as to how much I'm going to have to save up. After that I'll move on to the paint, rims, etc. But I know 5k is a lil steep for me right now lol. But I'm guessing it's gonna be easier to rebuild my rotary than find a TII or ls1 that I won't have to rebuild before the swap or shortly after. Let me know what you think.

in order of price you have....$$ rebuild $$$tii swap $$$$$lsx swap

it sounds like warranty is one of the biggist things your looking for, you may want to try asking in azrx7 if you want to talk to the locals.

are you looking to get the engine ect. and build the car your self or are you looking for a shop to do everything and you just cut a check??

Then I would get a list in order of what you want to do.
I learned the hard way, changing my setup on the fly,and it takes money you don't have out of your pocket very quickly.
Pick a set up,make a list of what you need, stick to that, and Then you can get an idea of what it will cost.
Parts will be minimal, and you can add Double the money in parts for the labor if you are getting a shop to do it...So Be ready to pay through the nose.
That is why Guys like to do it themselves.
