NC rear brake job on 94 rx7

I tried looking at the suggested threads on this site but both addresses were broken liks. So I just want to ask if I need a special tool to compress the piston back into the caliper. I tried my C clamp, but it wont budge. On a 1984 lincoln tha I had in the past there was a special socket to twist the piston back into place. Is that the way this piston has to be compressed into position?

The rear caliper screws in. Search the Suspension section for old threads on that topic - or download the FSM and follow the procedures laid out by Mazda.

i think yes im about to install new calipers on my FC and i need the piston wrench to turn it back in and line up the slots for nubs on the back of the pads you can get the universal wrench at your local parts store usually in the specialty tool section ranging from $5-$10 it should fit right onto a 3/8 drive ratchet

good luck
